Research

I work at the intersection of ocean science and biodiversity conservation for human well-being. Our research group is a team of ocean scientists and students whose mission is to share our science with the wider world, help to sustain species, and be in service to society.

Teaching

I value the opportunity to work with students and think actively about the way we discuss ecology, policy, and management with many different audiences, including those that have been historically excluded from these conversations.
