Please join the Graduate School staff in congratulating Dr. Dee Denver on his new half-time appointment as Director of the Molecular and Cellular Biology graduate program. Dee earned a PhD in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 2002. He was then awarded fellowships at Indiana University and the Allan Wilson Centre for Molecular Ecology and Evolution in New Zealand. In 2006, Dee was recruited to OSU as part of the Provost's Computational and Genome Biology Initiative (CGBI) as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Zoology (now Integrative Biology). He was promoted to Associate Professor and granted indefinite tenure in 2011. Dee has been a leader in the development and delivery of genomics curriculum at both the undergraduate and graduate level. As part of the CGBI, Dee played a key role in modernizing the MCB program curriculum shortly after his arrival at OSU. We look forward to Dee assuming his new role on July 1.
