I study anthropogenic impacts on trophic interactions and population dynamics. I am currently exploring the effects of climate change on northern anchovy populations off the coast of the Pacific Northwest. This work focuses on the influences of abiotic factors, prey fields, and larval anchovy spatial distributions on survival during anchovy early life stages. Past projects have explored larval yellow perch foraging in Lake Erie, growth of Snake River spring/summer run juvenile Chinook salmon, and visual acuity of Lake Erie sportfish.
