The Karel J. H. Murphy Professional Faculty Leadership and Service Award honors a professional faculty member who has provided outstanding leadership and service throughout their career both within their department and in programs and organizations across Oregon State University. The 2017 honor goes to Tara Bevandich, administrative assistant with Integrative Biology, College of Science.
The Herbert F. Frolander Graduate Teaching Assistant Award recognizes graduate students who have excelled in their capacity as teaching assistants. For 2017, this honor is given to Carmen Harjoe, a graduate teaching assistant in Integrative Biology, College of Science.
