Teaching

Teaching is more than just a career or profession for me. Rather, it is a life mission for which I have great passion – to contribute to educating knowledgeable and productive members of society. I feel excitement, honor, and privilege to have this opportunity. My scientific background coupled with my passion for teaching has motivated me to better understand how people learn. As a result, my teaching philosophy is centered around the concept that the student learning needs to be student-centered. My goal is to provide an effective and successful learning experience for diverse students in an inclusive learning environment utilizing evidence-based educational practices which promote active learning, critical and logical thinking, analytical skills, communication and collaboration.
